Gifts In-Kind

We rely on generous donations of gifts-in-kind to support many of our outreach/community services. Here is what we need right now:

END HUNGER by bringing one nonperishable canned or packaged food item each Sunday. Fill the shopping cart that is in the Outreach Center. Families in Transition will benefit from donations received. All donations are very much appreciated.

FRIENDLY KITCHEN: we serve fresh cooked meals at the Concord Friendly Kitchen throughout the year. You can help in the kitchen or as a counter server! More information

TEMPLE CHILDCARE: Over the past fifteen years, South Church and Temple Beth Jacob have had a reciprocal agreement to assist one another with childcare during each congregations' high holy days. South Church will be offering child care at the Temple during Rosh Hashanah (September 30) and Yom Kippur (October 9). Look for a sign-up sheet on Sunday if you are interested in helping out.

CROP WALK CROP – Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty. CROP gives people like us a way to support the work of CWS while it brings people together in walks all across our country! If you’d like to learn more about the many ways that Church World Service makes a difference in the lives of millions of people, take a look at or their web site, and our bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall in the fall. Concord holds a CROP walk annually in October. South Church walkers have won the Golden Sneaker the past several years, given to the group that raises the most money for CROP.
