Family Retreat

We started here, twice now! But Family Retreat is the kickoff of our retreat year at South Church that includes a men's retreat, a woman's retreat, retreats of youth groups, deacons, staffs, and various committees. We're committed to providing opportunity for spiritual reflection and fellowship both within and without our traditional worship. In September, during foliage season, South Church families retreat to Horton Center at Pine Mountain, where many of our youth attend summer camp. Horton Center is a full service center for spiritual reflection, with spacious bunk rooms, meeting facilities, and a beautiful dining building, and our program includes family hiking, time for games, spiritual programming, communion, and plenty of fellowship! The family retreat is open to all-- couples and singles have enjoyed the time with kids and their folks. If you worship with us, you're welcome at family retreat.
