Stewardship Ministry celebrates South Church generosity of giving
In the season of Epiphany we are emphasizing the joy and gratitude we experience after the celebration of Advent and Christmas.  Our campaign for financial support for the 2010-2011 budget is grounded in our experience of God's love lived out in the work and worship of the people in this community of faith and overflowing as a blessing in our world.  We invite you to make your pledge to sustain the vital ministries of South Church and join us as we dedicate our pledges in worship.

And…. Many, many thanks to all who have maintained their support through the (potentially confusing) transition to the new Stewardship program and shift in our budget cycle.

If you wish to make a pledge on line for either the transitional budget January-June 2010 or the new fiscal year budget July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011 please click….Pledge on-line

The men and women who founded South Church over 150 years ago wanted their fellowship to be active and influential in the lives of Concord area people. Learn more about what South Churchers are doing in our community here. That dream is very real today as  South Church members come from nearly every walk of life, point of view, a broad variety of religious backgrounds to join in worship, fellowship, and service. Come join us!

The gift was made in memory of his wife, Sarah, who had recently passed away after 39 years as a member of South Congregational Church. In June of that year, the Society was founded. The Society was to be funded by an endowment, the income of which was to “be judiciously used for the relief of the sick and needy of our membership, and also for the brother or sister who may be with us and need our aid.” Franklin Evans made several more gifts to the Society, the last of which was received in 1923...
